Venusta Wedding Dress
She is gently looking over at me with eyes full of expectation. I can see she is nervous because her perfectly manicured hands are clenched to the delicate chiffon skirt of her gown. She is lightly trembling from what I would imagine is only excitement but, today is her day. Her dress moves elegantly with every graceful step she paces. I see now that the gentle curve that the top layer of her full chiffon skirt has been frilled to the side to create cascades of fabric.
Her enchanting dress is her support and her fitted bodice of jewels, embroidered in lace and crystal, is her armour of sparkles. She is invincible, a visualisation of white that could only be compared to an angel in a strapless ball gown of the finest fabrics. Her skin appears golden next to the diamond white fabrics of her dress. Pressing gently in a sweet heart neckline against the soft skin of her bosom. Gently directing ones gaze up to her now softer expression. Her eyes reflect, softly the unsaturated sparkle of her upper dress that is richly encrusted in the most beautiful stones, crystals gently stitched in the floral details of the light lace layer. They are shimmering in Gold as I have never seen before.
Could she really be mine? All mine. As if today I truly, genuinely see her for the first time and all else around me slowly fades away to nonexistence. As if we are alone. Just the two of us and she is my light. My only light and I will be hers.
