Our Story

On Valentines day, 14th February 2014, my boyfriend of 3 years and 5 months (at the time) proposed to me. A week later his aunt asked me to help her with her measurements for her wedding dress that she was buying online from a South African site.

I realized at that time that this site was over charging and I could do something about it. I then went on and looked for similar dresses with the bride to be and found the exact same one for less. What sold me on the idea to start this brand was having to plan my own wedding.

I have always had a great passion for dresses and beautiful things. Now I want to share my passion and help ‘brides to be’ to get the dream wedding they have always dreamt of. I am planning my own wedding and realise how hard it is so I would like to take one burden off your shoulders.

My fiance and I (I love how that sounds ) are still deciding on a date. I would like to get married next year sometime between July – October 2015.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I am always open to suggestions and love hearing about other peoples wedding stories! You can contact me via lucy@lucrisia.co.za.

Looking forward to hearing from you,
